Description

These Roasted Garlic Chicken Sliders layered with smashed roasted garlic and homemade garlic & herb aioli will catch your taste buds off guard!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large organic egg
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp basil flakes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 garlic bulb, roasted
  • 3 gouda cheese slices
  • 3 slider burger buns, toasted
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • Dijon mustard
  • arugula

Garlic Aioli:

  • 3 roasted garlic cloves, mashed
  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Cut a 1/4-inch from the top of the garlic head to expose the individual garlic bulbs. Lightly coat with olive oil, wrap in foil, and bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
  2. Add ground chicken, parmesan cheese, egg, butter, red pepper flakes, black pepper, basil flakes, garlic powder, and sea salt in a large bowl. Mix with hands. Form into palmed-sized patties.
  3. In a skillet, cook the patties at medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side. Add a slice of gouda cheese after flipping patty over. The patty is cooked when the center is firm, and the juices run clear.
  4. For the aioli, combine the mashed garlic bulbs, mayo, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, fresh basil, olive oil, and sea salt in a small bowl. Whisk (paid link) together until smooth.
  5. To serve, layer the bottom bun with dijon mustard, arugula, chicken patty, smashed garlic cloves, red onion, and aioli. Top with top bun.
