- 1 Whole Yellow Onion
- 1 lb. Italian Turkey Sausage
- 4 tbsp. Butter
- 2 tbsp. Minced Garlic
- 2 tbsp. All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp. Tomato Paste
- 15 oz. Fire Roasted Crushed Tomatoes
- 5 oz. Organic Fresh Spinach
- 4 cups Chicken Stock
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 tsp. Adams Reserve White Wine and Garlic Butter Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Oregano
- 1/2 tsp. Himalayan Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Thyme
- 1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/4 tsp. Basil Flakes
- 10 oz. Fresh 3-Cheese Tortellini Pasta
- Grated Parmesan Cheese, optional
- Chop the onion into small pieces then place to the side.
- Cook your turkey just until the pink is removed for a few minutes then remove from heat.
- Add the butter, garlic, and flour stirring until it slightly binds then add the onions. Cook your onions until translucent.
- Add tomato paste and fire-roasted crushed tomatoes stirring until it begins to cook together.
- Add the spinach, chicken stock, heavy whipping cream, and seasonings then bring the pot to a boil.
- Place the tortellini pasta and cooked turkey into the pot and cover cooking at medium heat for 15 minutes or until the pasta is softly cooked.
- Allow to cool then serve immediately.
