A Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich is the perfect choice. A creamy chicken salad loaded with fresh ingredients served in a buttery croissant!

- 1 lb shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp basil flakes
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 3 tbsp dill relish
- 1 cup mayo*
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 4 whole croissants*
Instructions
- Chop your shredded chicken into small pieces and add to a large bowl. Add the chopped red onions and chopped celery into the same bowl.
- Add the paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, basil flakes, sea salt, mayo, mustard, and dill relish. Mix well.
- Cut your croissant in half, layer with a sliced tomato and lettuce, and top off with the chicken salad.
Notes
For more creaminess, you can use 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt). Sour cream helps to balance out the heaviness of the mayo.
You can lightly toast your croissant to give the sandwich a bit more texture. Lay them cut-side down on a baking sheet (paid link) and toast at 400 degrees for about five minutes.
