Description

These Flaming Hot Buffalo Chicken Wings pack a ton of heat and a lot of flavor! Baked chicken wings get a spicy bath in a homemade buffalo sauce.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 lb. Whole Chicken Wings
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Himalayan Salt

For the Wing Sauce:

  • 3/4 cup Sriracha Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Organic Ketchup
  • 6 tbsp. Melted Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Red Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Himalayan Salt


Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut each chicken wing at the joints to separate the drums and flats and discarding the wing tips. 
  3. In a small bowl, add smoked paprika, oregano, black pepper, Himalayan salt, and garlic powder. Season your cut chicken with the seasonings, then toss in olive oil.
  4. Bake your chicken at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then flip them over and cook for additional 20 minutes.
  5. In a small cooking pot, add all sauce ingredients and cook on low to medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
  6. Add baked chicken wings in a large bowl and toss with wing sauce. Coat well.

Notes

Serve with celery, carrots, ranch, or blue cheese dressing.
