Description
A riff off the French 75, this Raspberry Pink 75 pairs homemade raspberry simply syrup with elderflower rose gin, fresh lemon juice, and sparking rosé.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. elderflower rose gin
- 1 oz. raspberry simple syrup
- .25 oz. fresh lemon juice
- sparkling rosé
- lemon peel
- fresh raspberries
- ice
For the raspberry simple syrup:
- 2 cup water
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
Instructions
- Place 2 cups of water, 2 cups of sugar, and 1 cup of fresh raspberries into a saucepot and bring to a slight boil. Muddle raspberries in the pot and allow to simmer for 7 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain simple syrup and pour it into a jar.
- Add 2 ounces elderflower rose gin, 1 ounce raspberry simple syrup, .25 ounce lemon juice, and ice to cocktail shaker.
- Close the lid and shake your cocktail for 30 seconds. Pour the cocktail into a champagne flute.
- Top off with a sparking rose and garnish with lemon peel and fresh raspberries.
