- 2 lb Yukon Gold potatoes (4-5 Yukon Gold per pound)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tbsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Creole seasoning
- 2 cups Monterey jack cheese
- 1 cup white sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes with a potato peeler (paid link) and cut each potato into 4 cubes.
- Boil potatoes for 25 to 30 minutes, drain, and place in a large bowl.
- Mash potatoes with potato masher (paid link). Add butter, sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Creole seasoning. Continue to mash ingredients together.
- Add Monterey jack cheese, white sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, and heavy whipping cream. Mix using a hand mixer.
- To serve, top with butter and parsley flakes or chives.
