Breakfast Cheeseburger Croissant Sandwich

A quick, easy, and juicy Breakfast Cheeseburger Croissant Sandwich made with a beef patty, in between two types of eggs, cheese, and a buttery croissant.

Breakfast Cheeseburger Croissant

Croissants are one of those baked goods that is great on its own or when used for a sandwich. Nothing beats a buttery, soft, and flaky bread in the morning, but what if you wanted to enjoy a burger as well?

Breakfast Cheeseburger Croissant

This breakfast burger is similar to the breakfast sandwiches you’ll find at fast-food restaurants, but I’ve made some changes to take it up a notch. For example, I’ve switched out the sausage patty for a beef patty, I combine fried and scrambled eggs, and my scrambled eggs are seasoned with lots of herbs. The result? A beefy breakfast sandwich that is juicy and full of flavor.

Breakfast Cheeseburger Croissant

You can not say enough about croissants and how awesome they are by themselves. This Austrian and French buttery pastry originated in the 13th century. And since some New Orleans cuisines have a French influence, I was able to enjoy these lovely treats throughout my childhood.

Another bonus is the beef patty. The patty isn’t your typical preparation.

The combination of sage, cinnamon, marjoram, and other spices will have your ground beef tasting as if you’ve just bitten into a juicy piece of breakfast sausage. The fresh herbs and savory seasonings are bursting with flavor, giving your morning taste buds a real surprise!

When making the Breakfast Cheeseburger Croissant Sandwich:

You can’t have a breakfast sandwich without eggs. Place your hard fried egg on the bottom and the scrambled egg on the top — in the middle of the two types of cheeses.

Be sure not to overcook your beef patty. Only cook it for 3 to 4 minutes per side.

Spread on some red pepper jelly for a tasty kick with each bite.
